Drulo has just released his latest single, “Nation,” arriving just in time for spring with a soothing and uplifting atmosphere. The lyrics, sung in French, capture a message of faith and hope:

Born Philippe Nze Aboghe in Gabon, Drulo’s musical journey was inspired by his mother, a singer who filled their home with melodies. In 2016, Drulo embraced Christianity, a decision that profoundly influenced his artistic direction. A move to France in 2019 for academic pursuits coincided with the global pandemic, during which he captivated audiences by sharing singing videos on Instagram, marking his public debut. His breakout single, “Il s’appelle Jésus” (“His Name is Jesus”), released in late 2021, became a viral sensation on TikTok and has since amassed over a million streams on Spotify. This success paved the way for his debut album, AIKO (2022), followed by his latest album, EMETH (2024).
